Beautiful SC-{Clemson and Upstate sc family travel guide}

The upstate of South Carolina is just so so beautiful!

We had such a fun weekend getaway to the Clemson game and stayed at the most beautiful campground called Twin Lakes. We had a view of the stadium across Lake Hartwell and the biggest campsite we’ve had yet with plenty of room for the kids to explore and have fun.

We also visited:

Stumphouse Tunnel & Waterfall in Walhalla-An easy easy quick adventure sure to please your little ones.

Downtown Clemson Shops and ate at the Esso Club which was just as amazing as we heard it was. It was sunday so they had their meat and 3 option…SO GOOD!!

This USC alum is falling hard for those tigers! The experience is just so different. As much as I loved my game and tailgating days of Carolina, Clemson just feels more family-friendly and since my whole little fam are Tiger fans, well, I guess I just have to join them :). I’m also a HUGE fan of coach Swinney, so he makes it easy to love them. I even bought a clemson shirt :o!  I look forward to many more game days in our future and hopefully getting to actually stay for a whole game. They just aren’t there yet, but it’s ok, we’ll get there.

Mother nature also showed up Saturday night with that Clemson sky! :O
