…
This is our 3rd camping trip to Clemson but this time, due to covid, there was no football game.
It was nice to go without the chaos and traffic though and be able to just enjoy the beauty of the upstate.
Stay: Twin Lakes Campground-every campsite is wonderful and you get a great view of the lake. It’s still my absolute favorite campground we’ve visited yet.
Eat: Smokin’ Pig BBQ-Only open Thurs-Saturday!! It’s an order then sit style restaurant so be prepared for that.
Do: Isaqueena Trails(pretty ~20 minutes drive from clemson), downtown Clemson shops and restaurants.
-If you go and Denver Downs is open, you should certainly check that out for loads of fall fun. It’s on the same road as the Smokin’ Pig.
We mostly spent time at the campground just enjoying the views, the quiet, and the wonderful weather we had this trip.
