Carolina Cider Co is just a short serene 45 minute drive from Main Road/hwy 17 area in Charleston, so about 1 hour from downtown.

They have goodies galore and something for everybody!

Peach, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, spicy, frog, bear JAMS and preserves +ciders, pies, cookies, flavored pecans, candles, soaps, & boiled peanuts!

It’s so worth the stop!

I went for the Cherry Cider and it’s so delicious. We sampled the strawberry too  which was also amazing.

There is also a small adorable coffee shop connected with the best lavender latte I’ve ever had!

Just 3 minutes away from the Cider Co is the Old Sheldon Ruins. Bring your bug spray but what a cool place to stop and check out. It’s peaceful, shaded and they even have a few picnic tables where you can eat some of your Cider goodies you just grabbed.

On the way to the Cider Co you will pass Caw Caw Interpretive Center which is full of fun trails all through the marshes so you could stop there first on your day trip, grab some goods at Carolina Cider, then make your stop at Old Sheldon last. Beaufort is only 20 minutes from here and is home to my favorite sweet shop-The Chocolate Tree! Nobody makes a coconut cluster like they do so if you make your way to Beaufort, this is a must stop!

I love how Yemassee is perfectly in between Charleston and Savannah(about an hour to each) and only a very short drive to Beaufort which is a smaller version of Charleston/Savannah. So much southern charm right there together and the drive between is through the Ace Basin which is so perfectly serene with no traffic to stress you out!

The kids and I went on a quick whim and had to get back for Hallie’s gymnastics class, but we plan to go back to spend a day in Beaufort this summer very soon and I’m sure we will make another stop at Carolina Cider Co.

What a gem of a place to have so close by!
